Locating the Quicktionary^®2 Serial Number

Every Quicktionary2 pen has a unique serial number assigned to it. Knowing your serial number is helpful when you request technical support.

Quicktionary2 Kanji Reader

If you own a Kanji Reader pen, please follow these steps to locate and determine the serial number of your unit:

1. Turn the power on and wait for the "Scan in English" or "Scan in Japanese" screen to appear.
   
   
2. Click the Escape key to display the main menu.
   
3. Click the Down key four times to select "Information."
   
4. Click the Enter key to display the Information menu.
   
   • Note: Menu items may look somewhat different from the ones shown above and below , depending on the Menu Type setting in the Preferences menu. (See the user's manual for details.)
5. Click the Down key four times to select "Serial Number."
   
6. Click the Enter key to display the serial number of your Kanji Reader.
   

To return to the "Scan in English" or "Scan in Japanese" screen, click the Escape key three times. You can also turn the power off and back on to start scanning.
